My Hearthstone Room from Sew'n Wild Oaks Quilting Blog

 Hello Everyone,

Today was the day I decided it was time to remove the flannel sheets.  Before I knew it, one thing led to another, and the entire bedroom was cleaned and the quilts changed around.  I'm calling it my Hearthstone room as everything you see has been made using my Hearthstone fabric line.

Double Dutch Treat from Sew'n Wild Oaks Quilting Blog

 Hello Everyone,

This is just a reminder that my Double Dutch Treat pattern is available for FREE by clicking HERE.  The link will take you to Google Docs which makes it is easy for you to print the pattern.


I designed this last year for my project for Mondays with Marcus.


This was my first attempt at combining wool with cotton and I really enjoyed the process and the final look.  If you don't want to use wool, then regular cotton applique would be fine.  I used Lanacot Wool from Marcus Fabrics and my Hearthstone fabric line.

Double Dutch Treat from Sew'n Wild Oaks Quilting Blog

Hello Everyone,

The cabin looks like a quilt shop with kits lined up for my Mondays with Marcus project which will roll out on Monday, October 16th for the big reveal.


I set up a table in the great room so that I could either watch TV or listen to an audio book while I cut kits from my Hearthstone fabric line and Lanacot wool and Lanacot textured wool.  The kits will be available in my Etsy shop on Monday the 16th.
